El Rey By Warren Lane

November 27, 2006

Hey,

Thanks to family member Zee, I got to see pictures of Warren Lane’s El Rey. It’s a beautiful example of motorcycle art. Warren of course is the brother of Billy Lane. This motorcycle is very different than any I have seen from Billy. As Warren himself says it’s a piece of art that he has worked on for years. That’s right, years. It really is a work of art. Warren said cost and time did not fit into the equation. He did not compromise anything. Go to the website and you can see for yourself. We can’t put the photo up here because we don’t have the photographer’s permission but we can give you the website where the motorcycle can be viewed. The website is www.runningroots.blogspot.com

You can scroll down, go to El Rey and see Warrens work and comments.

El Rey = The King c/s. I can’t say enough about how kool this and all Warren ( the neighborhood king ) Lane’s bikes are. Low slung brutes!!! Hand made frames which I had pictures of him making, until I accidentally deleted the file folder they were in. Anyway he sent me a bunch of great shots he took one night while doing the custom lathe work that typifies his frames. Warren really knows his bikes and is kool yet low key. Hopefully he’ll have his website http://www.theneighborhoodking.com back up soon. DJ CHOPPER GOD. Music is my weapon!!!
