December 22, 2007
Hey,
Today is Saturday Dec, 22 2007. Christmas is just around the corner and Train and I wanted to express our feelings.
We want to thank every one of our family who have been with us for the past 20 months. There are many thousands to thank and we truly appreciate you. We are especially grateful to the special people we have met through our effort. There are too many to name but people like Knuck out in Michigan, Merill up in Vermont, Dawson out there in British Columbia are very long term friends. These amazing people have been with us from the beginning and we have a special place in our hearts for them We musn’t forget Sam out in Chicago. Sam and the Garage Goons are great. We want to give special thanks to our sponsors like Doug Keim, a true master builder and friend,, the Legendary Perewitz Family, Rick Fairless, Bert Baker and Scout at Baker Drive Train, Big Dog Motorcycles, The amazing Kim and Cheryl Suter from K.C. Customs, Advanced Chrome down in Texas, The guys at Jolly Roger Customs,Michael Prugh, Darcy Betlach and all of the folks who have written to express their respect for our effort.Daryl Briggs and Jack at bikerpics.org have supplied us with kick ass photos and they are teriffic. Some of these amazing people and their comments can be viewed on the home page.
There are of course special people like the great Roger Goldammer, the amazing Rick Fairless, Liz O’brien, Ken Conte, Scott and the gang at Leroy Thompson, C.J. at Guilty Customs, the fabulous Eddie Trotta and all of the sensational artists and industry people who have interviewed with us in the family Jewels. There are 22 of them and a bunch more that have agreed to talk with me who I haven’t done yet. If I have forgotten anyone please take no offense.Donna Tochi, Sarah Liberte,Old Crow,Tommy Graves, Jay Hart, to name just a few.
So, our hearts are full of love, our chests are pumped up proud, our heads are full of amazing times and our souls have been touched. We wish each and every one of you a special holiday season and our desire to be life long friends. We have many folks who read The Beachcruiser in over 100 countries around the world. It amazes me to think of people in places like The Maldives, New Zealand, Germany, England, France, Australia , The Netherlands The Middle East, and even the former Soviet Republic who stop by often.
I must not forget Meghan, Johnny Gee and Gene at Strokers Dallas and the amazing Warren Lane who, with grace and kindness wrote to say thanks.
Oh, I would have done something more artistic but I am technically challenged. Train may do that( I hope). Don’t forget our Beachcruiser hats. They are very cool and only 16.95. There are just a few left.
