  You can all read what Mr. Huze has to say.I would also like to direct you to the comments and the last one in particular.

  Slopoke( internet handle) is a long time friend of this website. He is a friend, a brother and someone we trust and respect. You can read his comment about Mr. Huze and what he has said.

  It seems that Mr. Huze in his post where he ranks himself #1 is also saying that Keith Ball is disingenuous about his statistics. Keith as you know runs Bikernet and has posted often that his numbers are much greater than what Mr. Huze states. Alexa is a non-reliable source of information which is why we do not use it anymore. We have found webalizer and now feedjit to be much more accurate. Frankly, we don’t care who goes to what website. We care about who reads The Beachcruiser and that we are doing our best to help our brothers and sisters and provide the highest quality website. We NEVER have inflated anything!! and we can prove what we say.We do NOT agressively go after sponsors although we sure could use some more who we respect and who respect us.The need for sponsors is predicated on helping us give you the best we got and the costs of running this website and covering events. We don’t make money doing this. As a matter of fact our personal costs are thousands of dollars to do what we do.We post every day and spend numerous hours trying to be the best we can be.I have a job and so does Train. The Beachcruiser is a labor of love.

  We have posted the opinions about Alexa made by people who work for google and explain why Alexa is not dependable.Mr. Huze is quoting those stats and frankly, we don’t care. We stand behind what we say.

  Perhaps, Mr. Huze could explain why he posts those numbers. Perhaps, he thinks they are accurate but seo professionals say they are not.It is interesting that Mr. Huze cites “fraud” and deceiving advertisers by different webmasters.It is interesting that he is quoting stats from a source seo professionals say is not to be trusted.

  Mr. Huze has allowed his commentors to slander this website for a long time.We asked him to stop but, he seems to have a Vendetta against us. A webmaster is responsible for what he or she allows on his or her website.We told him that if he continued to do this we would explore our legal rights. The fact is we never go to his website so I have no way of knowing whether that is still going on or not. If you look at the article he wrote today he singles out our website as one whose numbers are not accurate.He does not mention anyone else. We only know about it because a reader wrote to tell us. He further goes on to say that people looking for bicycles come here.Well, this website by our research is growing particularly overseas. Why would anyone looking for a bicycle in China or Finland, or France, or Canada,or italy, or Afghanistan, or Abu Dabi, or Thailand,or Spain, or Mexico, orSoth Africa,or Australia, or all the rest of our readers go to the U.S. to look for a bicycle? The name of this website by the way is Custom Motorcycle Talk by Beachcruiser. It would seem that people using the key word motorcycle or custom motorcycle etc would be more likely to come here. Why are we getting so many visitors each month? Anyone searching for a bicycle who came here once would never come back.We have a ton of repeat visitors.

  There you have it. You all can make up your own minds about us and Mr. Huze.We didn’t and don’t do this to get involved with this type of person.I probably shouldn’t have reacted at all but,alas, I am human.Train, for those of you who know her is probably the nicest, sweetist person I know or have ever known.When someone attacks her, more than me, I get pissed.When Cyril Huze questions our integrity or his readers say nasty things about this website it hurts her.She is the tech person here and Mr. Huze’s attacks are a direct attack on her as she compiles the stats. She is an i.t. professional and knows what she is doing.I hope Cyril is proud of himself.

  O.K., I will say no more about all of this. After all, I know you people, our friends and family do not come here to read this.I want to apologize for taking this public.This is not who I am or what I want to do. I wonder how any of you would react under the circumstances.I felt the need to defend myself and Train which I shouldn’t have to do.

  We appreciate all of you who come here and we will go forward giving you the best we got.We are sorry for this “skirmish” and we won’t participate any more. We leave you to decide.
