Hey,
This is my last post on this matter and I wish I didn’t have to make it. Huze sent me some of what he has posted about us on his website. You can judge the motives and validity of what he says.
(1) What I said was that each or our sponsors banners have been hit over 17,000 times as of last night. I did not say we whatever Mr. Huze is “quoting” This is information that is tabulated by webalizer and, if you go to the map which is powered by Google it shows where people are visiting this website from around the world. We don’t have any input into any of this. When we used Alexa Mr. Huze said that that system was flawed and now he quotes numbers from that site for his own purpose. Interesting.
We posted our gross stats for the past 12 months in hope that all would see that they are as real as they are reported to us. Mr. Huze attacks the 75,000 visitors we sais we had a couple of months ago and there it is for all to see. We don’t have any obligation to post them but in the name of simply telling the truth we felt we would.Mr Huze says our numbers are going down each month. As you can see that is not true. February was a short month but we have averaged over the 75,000 we have claimed for three months running.
Mr Huze is spending an awful lot of time blasting and slandering us and you can be the judge of why?We have decided to ignore him and slander and do what we always do. We will try and bring you the best we got.
In conclusion, all methods of gathering data are not 100% accurate. My lord if the internet was perfect there would be no hackers, no viruses, no problems. We were hacked last year and that is when things went askew for us. We didn’t feel alexa was accurate anymore so, we switched tools. If you read what we posted about a number of seo pros had to say about Alexa then you can see that that system is flawed as well. You could spend a ton of money getting pricy software I suppose but we don’t make any money doing this so there is no justifiable reason to do that. We prefer to spend our money on trying to cover events etc and bring you the best we got.
In conclusion, Mr Huze wrote to us and said that a comment we published by “slopoke” was fabricated by us and that it had the same ip address we have. That is just out and out slander. We wrote to slopoke to ask him to confirm that he is the author and he has. We will post his response shortly.
We didn’t get into this to argue and fight with anyone. You can judge yourselves what Mr. Huze’s motives are and what kind of man he is.We run a motorcycle website. We run it to the best of our ability. We run it honestly and dillegently. We are saddened and outraged at the venom Mr. Huze seems to have towards us. In the end, we can’t control what people think or why.We know all we have done to support the industry and the people who make it great. We didn’t see Mr. Huze at the Perewitz charity event last year but we were there. It was an expensive trip to make and we donated to the charity(ms). I don’t know if Mr. Huze was in Cincinatti this year but we were. It was expensive and we pay our own way. We did it to bring you coverage as best we could. We went to Sturgis, had planned on Heritage(canceled) and have covered Vegas etc.The moist important thing is we have tried to give recognition to those in the industry who need it or ask for it mostly for free. We do have a few sponsors but that doesn’t even scratch the surface.
So, here we are trying to bring ourselves and our readers the best we got about the industry and it’s players. What are our motives? What are Mr. Huze’ motives? I cfan only say that we don’t have any other than what I’ve stated. You see and hear peoiple saying terrible things about other people every day. It is with great sadness that we are being attacked in the very same way.Frankly, it’s a big turnoff but, we can’t allow this kind of person to change who we are. We are proud of who we are.
I ask you to look at our home page. People we respect and people many of you respext have taken the time to praise us. I suppose Mr. Huze will say we wrote those comments too. We have received praise from many others including Michael Prugh etc. We save emails and statements too Mr. Huze.
We now have to trust that those of you who know us and have been coming here for awhile will know that there is something very strange about what Mr. Huze is doing. We don’t get it but, maybe some of you do.Who is this man anyway? and why does he seem to spend so much time tracking other peoples websites and commenting as if he is a deity. We hope Mr. Huze is o.k and that he lives a long and fruitful life. We are done defending ourselve and playing this game in which there are no winners, that hurts the industry, and that is designed to try and destroy our effort. It’s really sad that we and for him Mr. Huze have had to spend time on this when there are so many positive things that need doing.
Beach

Hey I just thought you would find this funny.
Last year I used to read Huze’s blog but on his one year anniversary http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/2007/10/05/cyril-huze-is-1-year-old-and-number-1-motorcycle-blog/ there was a heated discussion about his stats. At the time he claimed that Alexa was crap and the numbers faulty. He now has changed his tune. Also, if you read the post his numbers are made up of his blog, bike site and his shop site.
I realize you may have moved past this, but I wanted to set the record straight and let you know about this fuzzy math.
Hey Beach ! All the best to you . Keep up the good work ! Let it go and that guy will move onto someone else … I’m sure it got the blood pressure up but it’s tuff to argue on the internet . Maybe you can meet in person some day and sort it out . Dawson ….
