Jason Lee’s ‘Bullet Falcon’ Built by Ian Barry of Falcon Motorcycles,
Won Best Custom Motorcycle At Legend of the Motorcycle.

LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) - Ian Barry of Falcon
Motorcycles was named winner of the Best Custom Motorcycle Award at
The 2008 Legend Of The Motorcycle Award Ceremony in Half Moon Bay, CA.

The award was received for the building of the ‘Bullet Falcon’, a
board track racer-inspired motorcycle, that Barry custom created for
actor Jason Lee (”My Name Is Earl”, “Vanilla Sky”, “The Ballad of Jack
and Rose”, “Almost Famous”). The Bullet started as a derelict pre-unit
Triumph Thunderbird frame and engine, around which Barry created a
“ridable piece of art,” taking him over 1000 hours to fabricate.

Says Lee: “The Bullet is a perfect motorcycle, and a major accomplishment for Falcon. Not just because of the bike’s overwhelming beauty, but because Ian Barry has completely shattered the current custom motorcycle mold.”

Approximately 6,000 attendees from five continents were present at the
Saturday, May 3rd event, admiring close to 300 of some of the world’s
rarest motorcycles. Also in attendance was the recipient of the
Lifetime Achievement Award Grand Prix racer Giacomo Agostini, Master
of Ceremonies Alain de Cadenet, actors Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi and
Michael Madsen, as well as the icons of custom motorcycle building
along with their latest  creations: Jesse James, Paul Cox, Shinya Kimura, Roger Goldammer, Ian Barry and Billy Lane.

Baptized “Custom Ace” by The LA Times, Ian Barry is a builder known
for visual elegance and subtle use of materials, his signature being one-a-kind motorcycles that he builds around the derelict frames and motors of reclaimed British bikes from the post-war era; predominately
Triumph and Nortons.

“Ian Barry’s creations are creatures of subtlety, of form and design.
Of linear cleanliness complimented with the occasional unexpected
fine-toothed flourish. They are more I.M. Pei than Frank Gehry. And
this bike, dubbed Bullet (as in the species of falcon), is arguably
Barry’s finest work.” - Nick Stecher, LA Editor, Intersection Magazine

Hailed by recent press as “a new breed of custom,” Falcon Motorcycles
has quickly garnered worldwide respect and recognition since its inception in  2007 by founders Amaryllis Knight and Ian Barry. With the combination
of ingenious metalwork and inventive engineering, Falcon creates highly collectable ridable sculptures. Although Ian Barry has built many custom bikes, the Bullet Falcon is the first official Falcon Motorcycle.
