This awesome custom mid-evil theme bike is the first creation from partners Armindo “The Kid” Alves and Dan Dausey at Sick Bastard Choppers www.sickbastardchoppers.com in North Miami Florida. To help visualize their concept, Sick Bastard commissioned celebrated Industrial Designer Adam Canni of Canni Design www.myspace.com/cannidesign to create the design in 2-D. The end result “Sir Lancelot” was a design collaboration of Sick Bastard Choppers and Canni Design as Sick Bastard Choppers first entry into the AMD World Championship of Bike Building www.amdchampionship.com at Sturgis, SD.

“Sir Lancelot” is a perfect blend of ultra high-end motorcycle, with the unique custom touches Sick Bastard Choppers will no doubt be famous for. The details on this bike will blow you away… for starters the guys teamed up with Steven Vanrensburg, at War Eagle Motorcycles www.wareaglemotorcycles.com to assist in the fabrication of the trick Chassis, Billet and Sheet-Metal work which includes single side front and rear swing arms with remote air ride suspension. To keep true to the design concept, the guys selected Ego Tripp Wheels www.egotrippwheels.com to fabricate the awesome one-off 24”x3.5” front and 21”x9” rear 3-D wheels.

The heart of the beast, was developed by Accurate Engineering www.accurate-engineering.com, who hand assembled a special one off 104 C.I. Knucklehead good for 100 H.P. All that power is propelled though a custom Evil Engineering www.evil-engineering.com LSD Primary to a Baker Drivetrain www.bakerdrivetrain.com Torque Box six-speed transmission, with the final drive through a one of a kind custom insane chain www.insanechaines.com. In addition, “Sir Lancelot” is complemented by Polished Stainless Steel – Exhaust, created by Frankie Serrano at FSD www.FSDDesigned.com, and tons of hand engraving by Jeremy at Steel Tattoos www.steeltattoos.com. If all that was not enough, Sick Bastard Choppers very own award winning airbrush artist Jeff Selker laid down the insane custom paint, complemented with a hand-stitched seat by Chapel Motorcycles www.chapelmotorcycles.com.

As the new company on the scene Sick Bastard Choppers made huge impression with the fans but not with their peers. “Sir Lancelot” debuted at the AMD Show with a disappointing, but respectable finish, placing 16th in the world at the World Championship of Bike Building competition at Sturgis. However, redemption came on Thursday as “Sir Lancelot” went on to win the “Over 1000cc Radical Class” at the Rats Hole Custom Bike Show www.ratshole.com, beating Germanys own Thunderbike, the reigning European Champion and 5th place 2008 AMD winner. The Rats Hole’s world class - professional judges have spoken and “Sir Lancelot” walked away from the competition at the Thunderdome the clear Champion. “Sir Lancelot” will be making its rounds this year, with its next appearance at the Rats Hole Custom Bike Show at Biketoberfest in Daytona, come to the show and check it out in person!

    Hey, Glad you are back!

That chopper looks really cool, and sharp too. Literally! I love it, but would be afraid I’d get speared somewhere trying to ride it.
