Easyriders-Guilty

October 26, 2008

We know this guy. His name is C.J. Hanlon. C.J. was once a brown bag schlepper like so many of us have been at one time in our lives. C.J. was(is) a passionate motorcycle builder, designer and enthusiast. He gave up the security(and boredom) of  mainstream America to open up a custom motorcycle shop near Orlando, Florida. C.J. had some ideas, a whole lot of talent,a supportive life mate and the passion. Guilty Custom Motorcycles opened for business several years ago.

The idea was to build first class, one off, classy, powerful, beautiful works of mechanical art. The idea was to make his customs unique, special but affordable.

C.J. accomplished what he set out to do and his work is featured in Easyriders current edition. That’s quite a compliment for a guy who has battled health issues, the trials and tribulations of building bikes and running a business and making sure everything was up to his exacting standards. His motorcycles are known for their look, their craftsmanship and their dependability. C.J. stands behind his work as if you have a problem they fix it and if you don’t like the bike you can return it up to 30 days.

We know C.J. since the beginning and we want to congratulate him, his crew and his wife for making Easyriders.C.J. also is recently a triathelete along with his better half. They competed in Hawaii awhile ago which is also quite cool.

Props C.J. We admire what you have accomplished.

More On The Mongols

October 23, 2008

Hey,
The raid on the Mongols motorcycle club is continuing.63 members have now been arrested and jailed. There are 15 more warrants to be executed.
We have a comment below that asks about Cavanos who was the president. It seems that he works as a technician dor a day job and did his thing with the Mongols. A number of members including a past president said that the Mongols turned really bad after Cavanos took over the club. He said that Reuben was recruiting thugs agressively.Reuben is no longer in charge.
The U.S. Marshals are gusrding 60 Harley Davidson motorcycle owned by the club. That’s about $22,000 a bike which adds up to almost $670,000.
A judge has further ordered that No ONE can wear the colors of the Mongols or display the Logo on anything. That means if you wear a vest or a belt or a bandana or anything you are subject to arrest and confiscation of the property. This includes motorcycles. I don’t think they can arrest your arm if you wear a club tatoo or any other body parts but, I can’t swear to that.If you have anything resembling the Mongols logo it would be best to cover it up.
There is a question as to whether a judge can enforce the ruling as there are constitunal issues. He has issued it however, something that has never been done before.
It looks like the Mongols are toast.
