Homeward Bound

Hey,

  We are getting ready to head home after having a nice time in Vegas. The show was fun albeit too short and we did get to see some friends.Everything swwme to pass real quickly as the event started on Thursday night and ended on Sunday.

  We went down to the Cashman Center where the majority og the vendors were and where Artistry In Iron took place.We saw the machines on Thursday but when we went back on Sunday afternoon everything was gone. Well, there were several of the show bikes still there but, most were gone.This was only about 1:30 p.m.

  There were a number of cool things to see and of course a lot of very good people to meet.The people are always the highlite.We had some good grub and Train got to ride the coaster at N.Y. N.Y. Train loves rollwe coasters.We had a primo steak yesterday at Gallaghers and a nice meal at Hugos Cellar. The rest of our culinery experience was reaql down to earth.We got a couple of souveniers and I found a deal on some art by David Mann that I couldn’t pass up. I’m not sure how I am going to pay the mortgage but this was a once in very long time opportunity. Train promised to keep me warm this winter.

  Of course a week is never complete without someone threatening us over something.This time it was about something two disgruntled Rucker owners had to say about their experience.We didn’t even write the stuff but voila, some ambulance chaser is on us.I seem to recollect I said some nice things about the new owner and his attempt to ressurect the brand and honor all service contracts.

  Well,let this be a warning to people who like to liable us. It seems you can be held liable for what someone else says if you pront it on your website.I am not 100% sure about that but that is what we were threatened about. Ah, another beautiful day in America and another reason to think the worst of lawyers. Times must be tough for bad guys who live off of the misery of others.

  We should be home late tomorrow and then we will start posting photos and commentary so: you can share BIKEFEST 2008
