Yes everyone,

As the tech portion of TheBeachCruiser.com I can attest that there is no potential harm to your computer by visiting our site. In fact when I contacted Google about the warning message, they seemed to indicate is was some malicious third party who had planted the virus, spyware, malware, whatever it was on that ONE page of our website of nearly 3,000 pages. I did remove that page I ran a virus scan on all computers in our house and everything came up clean. However, as Beach indicated, Google is very quick to put up such warnings but very leisurly takes them down. We can't do anything except wait it out. It would be much appreciated if our regular visitors could let their friends know about the situation. Our thanks to everyone who wrote to tell us about it.

Thanks,

Train/Andrea

Thanks Knuck,
Unfortunately people don't always type in the beachcruiser. Most people type in a subject. We work really hard to bring our readers the best we got.We just want people like Google to be responsible. The problem lasted less than 24hrs. and it wouldn't harm anyones computer anyhow. Google never contacted us and now they are taking their sweet time to remove their "warning".They actually told us it could take two weeks to fix the message.Of course we had to contact them.Grrrrr

Hey MM,
Thanks for writing. It's a shame one has to worry about stuff like this and a warning about the power someone like Google has. I believe that people who purposely attempt to damage a website should do some jail time!! It's just another form of terrorism and a warning of how vulnerable we all are.
                                                                                                  Beach

Beach and Train, this is B.S. Hope it all works out . I doubt if it wil affect much. Although, viruses, malware and spyware are a big problem, There is also much un needed panic.

This reminds me of a funny gif that I found and posted a while back.

Open the link or copy and paste to web address bar to open at your own risk! Just kidding, it's perfectly safe!

Hi Marc,

Thanks so much for the heads up. Yes, we are aware of that but danged if we can do anything about it! We wrote to Google to have it taken off, but they replied that it might take weeks to respond. Evidently there are some losers out there with nothing better to do that inject innocent sites with malware and spyware. I deleted the one page that Google was fussing about and we don't get any warning messages when we run our security software.

But, the black mark will remain on there until mightly Google decides to take it off. If you could spread the word that there is nothing wrong with our site, that there is no suspicious software being intstalled on your machine when you visit us, that would be great.

It's just one of those things in the world we live in these days. Thanks again for the alert. Please keep coming back.

Dear Beach & Train,

I just wanted to alert you to something strange I just saw!

Google is listing your website as dangerous and potentially harmful, to opening up links to your posts and articles.

Just go to google, and type in some article that you have posted on the site and you will see.

Just looking out for you guys!!

Hope all is well.

Kind Regards,

Marc

Hey Knuck,
I think that is correct. I'm not sure but I remember Bill Rucker did injure himself awhile back. I'm just too tired to do the research.
